Dr. Milo Sobel

A Few Words from Dr. Sobel....

Within this domain, you will find a treasure trove of extremely valuable
and unique offerings that are designed to help business executives and
entrepreneurs — actually, anyone — make dramatic and positive
changes in their lives — within a surpringly short time period of time.
Not only Professionally. Personally, as well.

I have had the privilege of helping literally thousands of people, around
the world, for more than two decades. It has been a very gratifying
experience. There are particularly "rich moments" that I enjoy from
time-to-time, when former program participants call me or send letters,
thanking me for having made "a really big difference" in their lives.
That makes me feel like a million bucks.

In addition to mastery of the subject matter, I have found that respect
for all, a sense of humor, sincerity, and benevolent intentions are of
paramount importance, and have served me well. I share my knowledge
in not-so-secret, yet "off the record" remarks — that would not likely
be uttered by the typical instructor in a classroom full of MBA candidates
in a graduate business school.
I tell it like it is.

When business school instructors make reference to, let's say,
the financial "meltdown" in Asia of several years past,
it is almost surely something that they had only read about.
When I refer to that phenomenon in Asia, I can paint a vivid picture;
one that is realistic and credible because —
I was there in Asia at the time, conducting business.

There are too many "cookie cutter" types,
Following the pack and playing it safe.
To avoid risk in this way is to forego opportunity, as well.
And, paradoxically, this is truly . . . risky.

"Good enough" is not . . . good enough.
Today's "best" can be made better tomorrow.
The Pilgrims settled. We should not . . . settle.
We ought to strive for better . . . and better.
We should be challenged to discover the very best that lies within us,
to think creatively as well as critically,
and then to act decisively.
To continually and repeatedly do our very best,
fully utilizing our innate gifts,
struggling to overcome our flaws,
and with the benefit of expert guidance from others,
learning that which we do not know.
Having done all of this . . . IS . . . "good enough."
Then, we ought to turn our backs to the wind, spread our wings,
and pray that the wind will carry us to the destination we seek.

I am not willing to please the world at the expense of losing my integrity.
So, I do not present programs that "play it safe," that offer little worth.
I do not seek approval or even acceptance from everybody.
I do not expect to be everyone's — cup of tea.
But there is a more select type of client who also believes "good enough"
is not good enough and seeks instead an attractive . . . alternative . . . to
run-of-the-mill learning programs that are so pervasive.
These professionals tend to appreciate the provocative, fresh,
time-compressed and results-oriented features of my programs.
For these select clients, I pull out all the stops and give my all.
It is my privilege to be their — glass of champagne.

Thank you.
